Tax Supervisor

My client is one of the region's leading independent Firms of Chartered Accountants, currently in the Top 50 Accountancy Firms in the UK. It has 18 Partners with three offices employing roughly 140 staff. They provide advice and support to individuals and businesses ranging from small family enterprises to large international corporations including specialist divisions such as media, education, contractors, sport, FCA regulated businesses as well as charities.

This role, based at their main London office, would be reporting in to a Tax Principal. The role will provide an opportunity to work on a wide-ranging portfolio of clients, and the duties will include:

 Preparation of complex Tax Returns, dealing with clients and arranging submission to HMRC.
 Preparation of trust accounts and Tax Returns for submission to HMRC.
 Preparation of Inheritance Tax Returns.
 Dealing with queries and assisting tax staff and Principals.
 Maintaining a record of Tax Returns and payments and ensuring all returns are filed and payments are made on time.

The Ideal candidate will have the following skills:

 CTA qualified with a desire to specialise in personal and trust tax.
 2 year + experience, including dealing with trust Tax Returns.
 Experience gained in practice.
 Good IT skills and technical ability.
 Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
 The ability to prioritise and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
