Outstanding Opportunity - Leading Financial Services company wants an accomplished hands-on Technical IT Manager. This is a great opportunity as the company is undertaking significant business transformation & business change (business, systems, process, people change). It is essential have both hands on technical ability whilst also being business focused. You will support the IT Director, taking on technical aspects of the role (applications, development, architecture & infrastructure), as well as technology leadership, & you will have significant influence in shaping the environment going forward

Expertise & Responsibilities

-) Experienced in IT led business transformation with ability to articulate the vision, you must be delivery-focused

-) Essential to be business focused, as you will lead the applications, development, architecture & infrastructure landscape through business change, with responsibility for applications, business analysis, development & testing

-) Significant experience as hand-on Technical IT Manager, DevOps Manager, IT Development Manager, Service Delivery Manager, IT Operations Manager or similar

-) Expected you will have 8+yrs hands-on leadership experience with 5yrs in Financial Services or Insurance

-) This is a hands-on leadership position within a small close-knit team & you will be expected to get involved & lead from the front, with the ability to give team members autonomy

-) Understanding of end to end insurance processes is desirable
