Test Analyst - Infrastructure / Cloud

Global Business Services company is currently looking for a Test Analyst with experience of working on cloud-based infrastruture projects, for an initial 6 month contract based in West London.

The main focus for the role will be to ensure that any system or hardware being deployed to or used by the company's end users has been adequately tested, is robust, fit for purpose and meets all the business requirements and quality attributes defined by the business and QA streams, respectively.

Responsibilities

  • Testing activities to including all aspects of system; systems-integration testing, UAT and OAT.
  • To deliver and own the Test Strategy and Test Plans
  • To manage the delivery of activities and resources within the QA workstream.
  • Responsible for the strategy and approach to integration testing.
  • Responsible for describing the approach and requirements for using data during testing.
  • Responsible analysis, design and execution of test cases and scenarios.
  • Execution of reporting and documentation required from the QA workstream.
  • Design of the test approach and plan for all testing phases.
  • Assessing all test related risks and managing mitigation and issues.
  • To liaise with external parties to ensure relevant testing activities have been completed and meet company quality targets.
  • To own the escalation process for testing.
  • Own the management and status of UAT

Experience Required

  • Extensive experience of leading QA activities on global transformation projects covering both hardware and software.
  • QA experience of cloud based solutions, more precisely moving from and on premise model to cloud
  • Experience of testing business process supported by Office 365 essential
  • Professional and effective working relationships with internal teams and suppliers
  • Stakeholder management and adoption of an appropriate Governance model within testing
  • Understanding of the appropriate risk level acceptance by impacted stakeholders
  • Experience working with 3rd party suppliers and ensuring quality of deliverables meet expectations
