Start your job searchMy client, a leading international investment management firm is recruiting for a treasury assistant to join their Finance team. The successful candidate will be customer driven, acting with integrity, strong communication skills and be a team player.
The successful candidate will come from a financial services background, and will be an analytical thinker with an eye for detail and previous experience with financial reporting and Treasury experience. This role will give the successful candidate a lot of exposure within the finance team, including working with the group treasurer on interesting project work and will cover a wide range of operational treasury acitivties.
Scope of the role will include:
- Support to Group Treasurer covering a variety of tasks and ad hoc projects (e.g. collating bank information, responding to bank requests, regulatory developments, process documentation)
- Support to Payments & Operations Manager covering a wide range of operational treasury activities (e.g. payments, reconciliations, deal confirmations, system static data maintenance, client money controls)
- Administrative and operational support across all Group banking relationships
- Setting up new bank accounts and investment products (e.g. money market funds)
- Management of RCF and Bond compliance requirements
- Interaction with internal and external audit in relation to Treasury systems and controls
- Interaction with Group Finance on Treasury related activities
