You’ve recently moved to London from the little island of Guernsey, how have you settled in with us?

When I moved to the big smoke it was pretty daunting. I only knew two people here so it soon became apparent that I was going to be a small fish in a very, very big ocean. On my first day here I took part in the training with a number of other new starters so immediately felt like I had a support system in sharing the “fear” of being new and knowing no one. My team were extremely warm and welcoming and I have taken part in all the socials available and have loved how inviting Marks Sattin has made me feel.

What were your first impressions of working at MS?

This truly is a unique company. Admittedly I am aware that when I joined I had no knowledge or experience of the recruitment sector, however seeing and listening to the way the business treats their candidates and clients with the utmost respect got me really excited to get stuck in with the training and even more eager to secure my first job/client. I could tell that the business really prides itself on building relationships with both candidates and clients making it their priority to offer an amazing service.

Also a huge congratulations on your first placement! How do you feel?

Thank you! My manager said he was very impressed with how quickly I placed considering I joined in May and was sat on a fee come July. I wouldn’t have been able to perform like that if it wasn’t for the training and support I’ve received. Watch this space!

Random Fact:
