Diverse role working for a family office based in the heart of Mayfair. The company acts as the European head office for an ultra high net worth family and oversees the financial affairs of their various investments and businesses. This newly created role is aimed at a Qualified Accountant with a background in accounts prep and tax at a small to medium sized Accounting firm.
Key responsibilities will include oversight for a number of entities within the family's portfolio. This may include UK and offshore companies, partnerships, LLP's, Sole Traders, Trusts and charities. Day to day you will oversee everything from cash management and book keeping through to statutory reporting, management accounting, cash flow forecasting and analysis, corporate and personal tax returns and VAT reporting. There will also be the opportunity to get involved in ad hoc research projects related to the family's investments. An ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and the chance to get involved in a broad range of tasks.
We're looking for a qualified accountant coming from a small to medium sized practice who is ACA, CA or ACCA qualified) and likely a couple of years post qualified (or equivalent). You'll need to have hands on accounting experience and be capable of pulling together full sets of management accounts andUKtax comps for companies and individuals.
