Business Analyst - Liquidity - Contract/Permanent

A well renowned Bank is seeking a Business Analyst to join a team working on a large liquidity programme in London. This exciting, permanent/contract opportunity is looking to build a golden data source within the division for finance validating data for Liquidity management and reporting.

The business analyst responsibilities include:

• Gather business requirements.
• Carry out analysis of source system data for populating the golden data source with relevant trades, static and cash flow data.
• Document functional requirements.
• Review solution with system architecture team.
• Support during testing/implementation

The candidate suitability is determined by the following skills set and experience that are detailed bellow:

• Excellent business analysis skills. This includes creation of documents, e.g. Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, Test cases, Test Plans.
• Demonstrate experience of working and building strong business relationships in a changing and fast moving environment.
• Investment Banking Products.
• Experience of working in an environment with a strong customer focus, with experience of pro-actively working with demanding customers in a flexible manner.
• Experience of implementation of change across the full project lifecycle.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Proactive and solution orientated.

Desirables:

• Qualified accountant.
• Experience within Treasury or Finance based business area.
• Understanding of PRA enhanced Liquidity standards (BIPRU).
• Basel 2 / 3 knowledge and experience (specifically LCR and NSFR).
