Start your job searchThe purpose of this role is to support the Performance Management team in working closely with the Group's businesses to establish expectations and provide insight around their future performance over the medium term planning (MTP) and short term planning (STP) periods.
Responsibilities:
· Support medium term planning process to provide analysis and insight on how the group can optimise returns.
· Adhoc decision support
· Relationship Manager for designated business
· Manage database and data set for planning
Requirements:
Essential
· Financial planning and analysis or audit experience with financial services preferred
· Good understanding of financial accountancy
· Comfortable working with systems/ data, e.g. use of Hyperion, Oracle, SAP
· Strong database (Hyperion Planning / Essbase preferred) and excellent Excel skills
· Skilled in the use of data analysis and presentation software tools
· Qualified accountant
· Strong business/financial management and analysis skills
· Very strong communication/relationship management skills
· Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
Preferred
· Financial modelling and analysis expertise
· Big 4/Management Consultancy background
· Understanding of the Financial Services sector
· Knowledge of performance management and VBM/balanced scorecard techniques
