My client, a well known brand with strong roots to our region is currently looking for a strong commercial finance manager to join their finance team, reporting directly into the Head of Commercial Finance. As commercial finance manager you will be working very closely and providing a 'Business Partner' type support to key commercial areas, your responsibilities will include supporting the new development plans, KPI and performance analysis, new product development, investment appraisals, providing financial support via financial modelling, planning and forecasting and providing in depth analysis around sales performance and cost performance. This is a very visible role within the business and so requires someone with very strong interpersonal skills with the confidence and the ability to deal with senior managers. Your remit will also be to drive efficiencies through the department. This role requires a high calibre candidate who is a fully qualified accountant with very strong academics or alternatively someone who has extensive experience of working within a commercial finance / analytical / business partner type role in industry. You must have the ability to deliver a high quality performance in a highly driven environment and you must have a very commercial background. Strong financial modelling skills are also required for this role.
