The role of Management Accountant has responsibility for the accurate, timely delivery of monthly reporting, mid month forecasts, budgets, forecasts and strategic plans.

Key responsibilities include:

Gain a comprehensive understanding of the business processes through effective communication with business partners
Become an integral member of a team reacting to a fast-paced FP&A environment within this growing business.
Developing and driving Insight across the business
Prepare reporting to the Group and subsidiary boards and committees as required
Challenge Business Partnership teams, using holistic view of the business to provide further insight and promote consistency across all teams
Prepare Mid month forecasts, ensuring consistency of application and assumptions across the Group, revisit approach post month ends to ensure most representative methodologies are being used and business assumptions are appropriately challenged
Managing and carrying out project work and interact regularly with management to understand current projects and initiatives, support business leaders in optimal delivery

Knowledge / Experience

Qualified Accountant, with demonstrated reporting and commercial experience
Previous management reporting and planning experience
Is analytical and has a questioning mind
Customer focused - providing flexible, proactive support to peers
A methodical approach to problem solving
Excellent communication and organisational skills, able to freely exchange information with peers
