My client is a £30m SME and is proud to boast a reputation as a leading importer and supplier of products to a specific specialist sector across the UK. Due to excellent growth, my client is now looking to add a Financial Accountant into their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven part-qualified/finalist accountant to take their next step in their career. Joining an existing finance team, the successful applicant will report into the financial controller and accounts manager.

This role will involve a mixture of financial and management accounting, including reporting, invoice finance control, cash management, nominal ledger entries, forecasting, budget preparation, stock valuation and reconciliations. The candidate will also have involvement in audit control. To be considered for this role you must have the following experience:

- Part qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA + 2 years experience in a similar role or a very strong QBE accountant

- Experience of working in an import/export role would be advantageous

- Experience of using SAGE 200 is highly desired

- Excellent on excel
