A well-established, fast-paced, and expanding company, based in the South of Manchester is looking for an ACCA-qualified Financial Accountant, to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to expand on their management experience, as well as conducting general accountancy duties, with the main responsibility being to sign off accounts. You will be reporting into the Senior Management Accountant and will have management responsibilities in a team of approximately 6 trainee accountants. Your main duties will include:

* Managing and motivating trainee members of staff.
* Assisting with month-end process, including analysis of P&L and balance sheet accounts
* Taking a hands on approach and having direct contact with the clients you will cover.
* Assisting with purchase and sales ledger as required
* Variance analysis
* Assisting in the budgeting process

You will need to be able to work with a degree of flexibility as oppose to a rigid work structure, in order to effectively prioritize new tasks.

This role will ideally suit someone with good interpersonal skills, who are ACCA/ACA qualified. Although it is not essential, holding a practise certificate is desirable for this vacancy.
