A prestigious home builder based in London is currently looking to recruit for a Financial Modeller. This role represents an exciting opportunity to join a highly experienced, entrepreneurial team of professionals from within the industry. As Financial Modeller you would take a key role in the growth of this private equity backed company. Key responsibilities include the production of financial analysis for management, current and prospective equity investors and bank debt providers. This will encompass the creation of reports, presentations, updated forecasts, business plans, site valuations and viabilities:

• Preparing all information requests from Banks and Equity Investors;
• Maintaining the Corporate Financial Forecast Model, including uploading information from the current accounting system;
• Advancing the Forecast Model to include new sites, including introducing new types of funding scenarios.
• Updating Valuations and Viabilities and ensuring that the Forecast Model is kept updated with this ever evolving information;
• Liaising with all departments to ensure that all forecast information is accurate and reconciled to actual results;
• Ensuring that all KPI data remains accurate; and
• Numerous ad hoc assignments.
• Advanced Excel modelling skills;
• Knowledge of Crystal Reporting is preferable.
• Good presentation skills;
• Sector experience of House building is desirable but not essential.

The successful candidate will be have been working in a Financial Modeller role for at least two years. Reporting directly to Head of Finance, the role demands a person of sufficient calibre and impact to influence decision making on both commercial and financial levels. They will be ambitious and keen to develop their career further within a fast paced and growing young business.
