Marks Sattin is delighted to be partnering this Global Blue-Chip organisation to help recruit a new Head of Finance for one of their key Divisions.

The Head of Finance role is a newly created role established to support and drive the integrated division. This is a high profile global role and a key, senior member of both the Finance management team and the Global leadership team. As such it will provide the jobholder with an excellent opportunity to develop and grow this important role across Global Finance.

Key responsibilities:-

• The role will be responsible for driving financial control and governance as well as performance management across the organisation
• Build strong and effective relationships with the leadership team, providing financial insight and advice, whilst at the same time, constructive challenge and an independent perspective.
• As a key business partner this position will play a critical role in defining and implementing the global strategy for the organisation
• Play a leadership role in developing the division into a commercially-focused, service-based organisation, ensuring that services are priced and delivered on a commercial basis in line with industry best-practice, and providing increased transparency to the global businesses and functions with regards to the drivers of pricing and the consumption of services.
• The Head of Finance will also be responsible for defining and developing a world-class finance team to support the global organisation, implementing global standards of financial management and control across all geographies, and leveraging centres of excellence where appropriate.
• In addition to supporting the Divisional implementation agenda, the Head of Finance will play a key role in driving the Financial Management transformation programme supporting the CFO

Candidate Requirements:-

• Extensive experience in operating at a senior level within a complex multinational service-based organisation with wide geographic coverage
• Subject matter expertise in running a Finance function for a Technology /Services organisation with direct experience of developing pricing and charging mechanisms
• Experience of balance sheet, capital and tax management
• Change manager with a track record of delivering organisational change in a dynamic, international environment
• Proven ability to deliver cost efficiencies to the bottom line, through driving productivity and leveraging scale /lower cost locations
• Demonstrable experience of delivering saves through offshoring, and through the support of commercial negotiation with third party suppliers
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability of excellent stakeholder management, working effectively across teams and problem solving
• A professional Finance qualification is essential (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
