A well renowned, multi-national life insurer is seeking a Solvency II subject matter expert, on a contract basis; to assist in the firm's readiness for SII reporting. This includes planning, designing and delivery of a dry run as well as assisting in the delivery of SII reporting in the New Year.

Responsibilities include:

* Development and delivery of Group Annual and Quarterly Solvency II Reporting Templates; including developing systems solutions with the Financial Reporting Systems Manager
* Report writing to the Group's Board and Sub-Committee's bringing to their attention key Solvency II issues, areas of judgement and technical developments
* Interpreting EIOPA and PRA guidance to understand the implications on reporting requirements

Qualification and Experience:

* Must be a qualified chartered accountant (or equivalent)
* Must have life insurance experience

Term: 6 month contract
Rate: £450 - £550 LTD per day (dependant on experience)
