The purpose of this role is to assist in the temporary management of Indirect Tax and, in particular, HQ VAT compliance in the European countries where HQ has indirect tax compliance responsibilities; VAT Returns, EC Sales lists, Intrastat and some environmental tax compliance submissions.

It is important that you understand the VAT implications of goods movements, reconciliation of VAT returns to Intrastat and EC Sales lists, and there is still a requirement to understand VAT to pull together the compliance returns.

You need to have experience of compliance for a company supplying goods, not services.
