A leading global bank is recruiting for an experienced operational risk manager. The role sits within the investment banking arm of the business and will give the candidate exposure to products and multiple departments within the bank. The candidate will have the following key responsibilities





· The design and implementation of operational risk monitoring practices across the Division

· Execution of the Divisional operational risk monitoring plan to the agreed schedule

· Contributes to the development of a sound and effective operational risk culture within the Division

· Ensure key stakeholders understand key operational risks and associated mitigating actions.

· Play a key role in the identification, escalation and mitigation of potential or actual operational risks

· Ensure high quality and timely monitoring output and reports are delivered across the Division’s businesses





The ideal candidate for this role will have:



Operational risk or transferable skills from an internal controls / internal audit position

Qualified Accountant / Qualified by Experience

Ideally previous Banking or Accounting Practice experience

Excellent Communication skills

Control mindset
