An excellent opportunity has become available for a Logistics Finance Manager to work for a market leading business based inWakefield. They have seen impressive growth in the last few years and continue to set the standard for their industry.

This role will directly report to the Head of Commercial Finance but purely focusing on the operational logistics function, covering both the warehousing and transport departments. As the Finance Manager you will have responsibility of a large multi million pound P&L in which you will be expected to build strong relationships with the senior members of operations, head of logistics, head of transport and warehouse managers. This is a true business partnering opportunity where you will be expected to improve current processes and procedures and always look to add genuine value in the finance department. Responsibilities are varied but will include: period end reporting and analysis, monitoring KPI`s, managing the budgeting/forecasting process along with two direct reports to manage on a daily basis.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with previous logistic, supply chain or distribution experience in a fast paced environment. You must have strong analytical skills and be able to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
