Cracking new in-house, Berkshire-based, Indirect Tax position to hit the market this week.

We are partnering with a major client of ours on the appointment of their Indirect Tax Manager to be based in the Berkshire office. This role forms part of the regional team that overseas accounting and reporting on all matters relating to indirect tax.

As the Indirect Tax Manager you will guarantee compliance with local indirect tax laws and regulations, by having a clear understanding of the various practicies in each territory; guarantee that the return cycle for VAT and Intrastat compliance is met; manage the indirect tax audits; and maintain effective communication channels with local country managers. An important aspect of the role is to also continue to improve the internal processes and procedures in how the organisation accounts for the indirect tax and liaises with the regional offices to complete the returns.

You will be a qualified accountant with strong and broad indirect tax experience, and experience of dealing with tax on a European scale.

This is a broad tax accounting role, which gives the opportunity to interact with senior finance colleagues and local tax authorities across the region, and to really make your mark in the organisation. It will also build your managerial skills by being responsible for running the local team of 6 specialists.
