You should have an expert knowledge of VAT legislation, with a clear understanding of VAT saving techniques applied within this context. E.g: Partial exemption methods, fuel and power saving, and temporary staff.

To be considered for this role you must:

-Be qualified to a minimum of AAT

-Have prior experience in the not-for-profit sector, either in-house or within practice

-Have fantastic communication skills, and the ability to effectively articulate complex ideas

-An understanding of VAT liabilities incurred by fundraising activities
