Tax Advisory Associate Director / Leeds or Manchester / £90,000 DOE with Benefits
An opportunity to join a high-performing business tax advisory team within a Top 10 Practice. This role is well suited to an experienced Corporate Tax Professional looking to work with large, listed and international clients, delivering technically complex advisory work while playing a key role in developing client relationships and growing the practice.
The team is collaborative, forward-thinking and committed to developing its people, offering genuine scope to shape your role and make an impact both with clients and internally.
The Role
As an Associate Director within the Business Tax Advisory team, you will lead on complex corporate tax advisory work for a portfolio of large and international clients. You will act as a trusted adviser, working closely with senior stakeholders and collaborating across service lines to deliver commercially focused solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising large, listed and international corporate clients on complex areas of corporate tax legislation
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships at senior level
- Leading advisory projects and delivering high-quality technical output
- Identifying and winning new advisory opportunities across existing and new clients
- Collaborating with colleagues across advisory, transactions, risk, consulting and technology teams
- Driving innovation through the use of technology and process improvement
- Supporting the development and mentoring of junior team members
Skills & Experience
- CTA qualified (or qualified by experience)
- Extensive experience providing corporate tax advisory services to large and international groups
- Strong, up-to-date technical knowledge of UK corporate tax
- Proven track record of building relationships and winning advisory work
- Commercially minded with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
