We are seeking a proactive Financial Controller to join a new venture in the inventory finance space by a highly successful firm. You will setup and grow the financial operations of the firm.

This role offers a high-impact position within a dynamic environment, working closely with executives to shape financial strategy and grow the business.
Role Overview:
As Financial Controller, you will be the linchpin of financial accuracy and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include overseeing financial controls, optimizing processes, and spearheading timely and detailed financial reporting. You will collaborate with senior leadership to refine cash forecasting, FX hedging, and liquidity management processes. With a focus on automation and data-driven insights, this role involves establishing financial dashboards, ensuring compliance, and contributing to transformative finance initiatives.
Person Specification:
The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with a minimum of 7-10 years of finance experience in supply chain finance, inventory finance or the movement of goods. Essential skills include expertise in PowerBI, data management, and financial controls, along with a proactive approach to process improvement. Advanced technology skills, strong analytical capabilities, and a commitment to high ethical standards are a must. Adaptability, self-motivation, and the drive to challenge the status quo will ensure success in this role, as will exceptional communication skills for engaging with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
