Start your job searchJoin a leading Global Alternative Fund as a Fund Controller in Transaction Management. A chance to work at the heart of the deals. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside the investment team and board to ensure the efficient execution of deals. You will need to balance the commercial objectives of the investment team with a robust approach to risk management and control.
Working as part of a specialist team within fund operations you will work right across the deal cycle, gaining exposure to investments, refinancings and exits.
- You will work with Tax and Legal on structuring the deals.
- Work with external banks on managing facilities.
- Collaborate with Treasury to manage investment funding and initial hedging requirement.
- Liase with the portfolio companies.
- Ensure the core Fund Controllers as informed of tranasactions and understand the ongoing setup up of the structures.
This role suits someone who is an excellent coordinator able to deal with multiple types of professionals at once in various juristictions in order the get time sensitive deals completed in a high risk environment. Clearly attention to detail and organisation will also be key.
- Experience of luxembourg transactions and/or funds is helpful. This could come from Fund Control or in the transaction team of a large bank.
- Exposure to Private Equity of Private Debt deals is helpful.
