We are recruiting for an Oil & Products Analyst with experience working in the Commodities market, to join one of the biggest players within the trading and shipping industry worldwide.

Role based in London (Hybrid working).

You will be paid a competitive salary with the entitlement to an exceptional pension scheme and performance related bonuses while receiving a generous holiday allowance and other exceptional range of benefits.

The successful candidate must have 2+ years of experience working in crude and products markets fundamentals analytics.

Examples of responsibilities to expect:

  • Analyse middle distillates fundamentals, trends and provide assessments, tests and findings of global commodity fundamentals and prices.
  • Work closely with analytics team and trading desks to provide support and views about fundamentals in real time.
  • Highlight trading opportunities based on timely and accurate fundamentals analysis and reports.
  • Contribute to tools improvements, data gathering and management to optimise them in terms of quality, efficiency of results and costs.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Maths, Physics, Engineering or Equivalents
  • 2+ years of experience working in crude and products markets fundamentals analytics.
  • Knowledge of middle distillates market fundamentals.
  • SQL and/or Python experience are preferred!
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
