Start your job searchWe are representing a market leading specialist insurer in their search for a Senior Claims Handler. You will be joining their growing Claims Team based in their Leeds Office. This role is perfect for an ambitious Lawyer looking to apply their litigation background in a different environment with clear career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluating the merits of cases within Professional Indemnity, Employers Liability, Public Liability, and Construction
- Working closely with Brokers and ensuring claims are not escalated
- Liaising with clients / policy holders throughout the claim
- Assisting panel law firms where cases are escalated
Qualifications:
- A Qualified Lawyer (contentious or litigation background) or a Claims Practitioner
- Experience working on Professional Indemnity, Employers Liability and Construction matters
- Client facing experience
