Start your job searchWe are representing a Fintech Payments Company, specialising in Credit Cards & Payment Services in their search for a Senior Legal Counsel to be based in their London Office. This role is perfect for someone already working in-house within Financial Services, looking to grow their knowledge and start managing a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, amending and negotiating commercial contracts; including SAAS Agreements, Client Agreements, NDA's and Partnership Agreements
- Advising the company on any regulatory challenges they may face and liaising with the FCA to ensure compliance. Horizon scanning will come into this
- Working on Corporate transactions (including M & A)
- Assisting with Ligitation and Data Protection matters from time to time
- Collaborating with the wider legal team and other stakholders of the business
- Supervising junior members of the legal team
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years PQE E & W Qualified Lawyer
- Strong skills in contract drafting and negotiations, and regulatory compliance (FCA)
- Experience supervising junior members of the legal team
- Must have worked within an FCA Regulated Company
