Start your job searchWe are partnering with a growing bank that is looking for a Senior Risk Model Development Analyst to join its team in London.
The position itself will give the successful candidate the opportunity of fast track career advancement!

The successful candidate will bring 3+ years of Risk Model Development (IFRS 9 or IRB) experience within financial services (preferably within a bank or a lending firm)!
Examples of responsibilities:
- Responsible for building and maintaining the bank's models, which includes all customer life cycle models in addition to Basel and PRA compliant IRB models and audit approved IFRS 9 models.
- Undertake the ongoing IRB and IFRS9 ongoing model validation, improvement and maintenance; providing relevant analysis and recommendations.
- Support Risk in providing an informed view of the credit profile of the bank, potential impairments and support the stress testing of the same.
- Ensure that the requirements for an IRB and IFRS 9 are being met
Candidate Requirements:
- Must have 3+ Years of risk modelling/model building experience within financial services, but preferably within a bank or a lending firm.
- Knowledge and exposure to IRB OR IFRS 9 is essential.
- Experience working in 1st Line of Defence would be preferable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence management and to lead and work collaboratively across teams
- Able to commute to the office in London once lockdown is over.
