A highly acquisitive international insurance group are looking for an ambitious Senior Tax Manager to oversee their UK tax reporting, advisory & compliance matters.

The firm has a very dynamic and fast-paced environment with extensive exposure across senior management, they are looking for someone to take responsibility for the function with a heavy emphasis on the advisory element and lead the way from the get-go.

Responsibilities:

• Providing advice and support on a wide range of treasury, M&A and capital contributions tax matters.
• Supporting the Head of Tax in any UK tax restructuring projects.
• Responsible for quarterly IFRS group tax reporting.
• Acting as technical lead for any treasury (hedge accounting) related matters
• Supporting the Head of Tax in the delivery of UK tax reporting to Senior Management.

Qualifications:

• Accountancy and/or Tax Qualification (CTA, ACA, ACCA etc.).
• Tax advisory, ideally linked to treasury tax.
• IFRS tax accounting.
• Prior experience working in a FS organisation.
