They are looking to further expand their Support Team in order to further develop their service, which includes; providing technical support, implementing pioneering technical solutions and, ultimately, completing their transition into BAU operation.

Roles & Responsibilties:

  • Offer 3rd line technical problem management support, responding to support queries via phone, email and ticket allocation.
  • Provide 2nd line support as well as training specific to the product you are aiding.
  • Upholding a high standard of customer service for any and all support queries.
  • Adhere to service management principles, working to defined SLA's.
  • Working with the account management team and supporting the production of improvement team calls (PIT).
  • Working closely with other business functions, such as Product, Deployment and Risk to investigate and lead cross function root cause analysis (RCA) investigations.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in operating MS SQL based applications.
  • A strong knowledge of MS SQL Server and creation of MS SQL scripting, including experience in using Database Administration (MS SQL) and managing large numbers of MS SQL Server instances.
  • Working experience/knowledge in troubleshooting, configuring, deploying and supporting Microsoft technologies.
  • Experience in managing networks including: TCP/IP, HTTPS, DNS, Routers/Firewalls, VLANs, VPN, Cisco, Baracuda.
  • Experience in a profession where there has been operation of a hosting/managed service in a support capacity, is desirable.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (2011).
  • ITIL Foundation Certificate.
