My client are a global FMCG business with 5,000 employees worldwide and some of the world's most iconic and recognised brands under their group. With record profits for the year 2017/18 they have been on a growth path and subsequently are looking to recruit a high potential junior accountant studying for their acca / cima qualification.

The role will sit within their finance team in their Wokingham head office and report directly into the financial controller. If you are a university graduate with a 2:1 or above in accounting and finance or have a relevant degree / msc and are looking for a role that will offer you the chance to grow, develop and progress quickly with an international business then this role is for you.

You will be involved with:

  • Preparation of financial statements
  • Monthly / quarterly reporting IFRS
  • Project accounting
  • Financial modelling
  • Cash flow forecasting
  • VAT returns
  • Accruals
  • Prepayments
  • Journals

Successful candidates will have:

  • 2:1 degree
  • Studying / ACCA / CIMA
  • Can do attitude
  • Advanced excel
  • Leadership qualities
  • Independent working
