A specialist insurance company in Dublin is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their Finance team in Dublin.

The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for supporting the Group Reporting team during key reporting periods;

  • Assisting in the reconciliation of intercompany balances of service companies and group entities.
  • Performing analytical review of P&L for service companies
  • Preparing annual statutory accounts
  • Liaising with external auditors on matters relating to service companies

Requirements:

  • Studying towards professional qualification ie ACCA, CIMA, ACA
  • University degree in finance/ business/ accounting is preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance company accounting is preferred
