An events, publishing and media business based in London is currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their fast pace team.

You will be responsible assisting the Management Accountant with month end including accruals, prepayments, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, reporting as well as taking ownership of the accounts payable for the events business. This will include managing supplier accounts, making payments, dealing with expenses and more.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has gained 12 months experience working in finance and is now looking for a step up in to a more rounded Accounts Assistant position. Ideally you will have previous experience working in accounts payable and be looking to study/ studying towards an accounting qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA). Strong Excel skills are key and previous experience using Sage or Access would be beneficial.
