A growing media company based in Central London is currently looking for a new Accounts Assistant to play an integral role in their finance team.

You will be responsible for assisting the Management Accountant with duties including:

  • Weekly reconciliation of bank accounts and expenses.
  • Match batch and code invoices and deal with supplier accounts.
  • Raising sales invoices and allocate payments/receipts to supplier accounts.
  • Prepare weekly payment runs.
  • Oversee input to monthly journals and assist with cash flow forecasts.
  • Assist with ad hoc month end duties.

This role would be best suited to someone who is studying towards or looking to study an accounting qualification (AAT/ ACCA/ CIMA) with a minimum of 1-2 years' experience working in finance. Candidates must have strong Excel skills and previous experience using accounting software such as Access Dimensions or Sage is beneficial.
