A leading consumer events business based in London is currently looking for a new Accounts Assistant to play an integral role in their finance team.

You will be responsible for assisting the Management Accountant with month end including prepayments, accruals and maintenance of the fixed asset register. You will also be responsible for bank reconciliations, accounts payable, payment runs, managing supplier accounts and assisting with cash flow forecasts and additional ad-hoc duties and reporting.

This role would be best suited to someone who is studying towards or looking to study an accounting qualification (AAT/ ACCA/ CIMA) and someone who has a minimum of 1-2 years' experience working in finance. Candidates must have strong Excel skills and previous experience using accounting software such as Access Dimensions or Sage.
