Accounts Payable Clerk - London

An international retail brand are seeking an Accountant Payable Clerk for a 2 month contract starting immediately. In this role they are looking for a candidate with a 1-2 years experience who is keen to develop their accounting knowledge. However personality and culture is a massive part of the job so they are looking for a friendly, approachable person who has the willingness to learn.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop relations with media owners, to provide exceptional customer service
  • Matching media owner invoices to the relevant media booking
  • Processing over 750 purchase invoices per month onto the accounting system
  • Prepare invoices for payment twice a month
  • Monitor the accrual ledger
  • Producing account reconciliations for each supplier
  • Liaising with the internal administration and billing teams to resolve invoice queries

Required:

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in finance
  • Good communication skills
  • Exposure with dealing with high volumes of invoices
  • Proficient excel skills with a willingness to contribute to additional duties
