A global retail business based in central London is currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Manager to join their fast pace finance division.

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring smooth day to day running of the accounts payable function. Duties will include: manage and organise a team of six, interrogate AP processes and ensure process improvement and change, ensure invoices are processed accurately and on time, review aged creditor reports, authorize payments, build solid relationships with all stakeholders, doing weekly payment runs, ensure open entries are closed promptly and ad-hoc month end duties.

Ideally this candidate will have a minimum of 3-4 years' of experience working in accounts payable within retail/FMCG with previously experience in managing a transactional team. Candidates must have strong knowledge of debits and credits and good organization skills with the ability to identify and solve problems. Previous experience using oracle is desirable.
