Start your job searchGlobal Accounting firm based in Reading are looking for an Accounting Assistant Manager to join them on a permanent basis. We are looking to hold initial interviews via telephone or video call.
This is an important role for the business being responsible for a client portfolio and a a crucial part of the team. Some of the duties you can expect to see in this role are:
- Management of some of the firms most important clients that span a variety of industries.
- Work as part of a team to ensure work is completed to meet pressurised deadlines.
- Work to quarterly and yearly reporting deadlines.
- Confident in financial reporting and consolidations.
- Assist with ad-hoc duties and stay up to date with changing legislation.
To be considered for this role you will ideally have worked within an accountancy practice environment at Senior or Assistant Manager level. You will be ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or about to qualify and have strong technical accounting knowledge. This would be an ideal role for someone who is currently working in audit and looking to move into more of a core accounting role.
