A property development company based in Central London is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their fast paced team.

Working as part of a small team and reporting in to the Financial Controller, duties will include:

  • Assisting with month end (journals/accruals/prepayments)
  • Carrying out multiple bank reconciliations and intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Overseeing additional responsibilities which may involve invoice processing, making payments, credit control, VAT returns and analysis of cash flow.
  • Assisting the Financial Controller with any ad hoc tasks where required.

This is a great opportunity for somebody that has experience in bookkeeping/accounts management looking for a varied role with exposure to a wide range of tasks. Ideally you will have strong Excel skills and previous experience using accounting systems. Good communication skills are required and previous experience working within real estate/ property would be beneficial.
