Seeking an Assistant Accountant to join a highly successful and reputable market intelligence company in the oil and gas sector, part of a FTSE 100 company.

Duties include;

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable management
  • Producing intercompany reports and handling payments
  • Bank reconciliations
  • General accountancy bookkeeping
  • Intercompany reconciliations for debtors and creditors
  • Ledger reconciliations
  • Continually make suggestions to drive process or system improvement initiatives
  • Support the office manager with any additional ad hoc duties

The ideal candidate will be a part qualified accountant (AAT, ACCA or CIMA) and have worked in finance for a minimum of 4 years in a broad role. You will have experience managing the whole ledger and ideally intercompany experience. You must have great attention to detail with excellent communication skills. Experience working in commodity market is advantageous.
