One of Europe's leading Private Equity firms are looking for a junior accountant to join their London team.

They have invested over €17 billion in 33 different businesses since 1994. The finance team has oversight of fund and non-fund activities which result in the production of management reports, investor reports and annual audited financial statements.

In this role you will be able to get exposure to both corporate accounting and fund accounting, which will give you an advantage once you have become a qualified accountant.

They will also offer study support towards either the ACCA or CIMA qualification.

Responsibilities of Assistant Accountant:

  • Management reporting; preparation of management accounts, budgets and cash flows
  • Accounts payable and receivable; expense claims, monthly supplier payment run, analysis of actual vs budgeted and debtor management
  • Ledger maintenance; VAT returns, bank recs, support investment accounting team

Requirements:

  • Must have only between 1 and 2 years' experience
  • Financial services experience desirable
  • Strong analytical, numerical, verbal and IT skills
