The Role: Assistant Company Secretary
The Client: Asset Manager
The Location: London
A fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative Legal & Governance team within an impressive and growing Asset Manager. This is an exceptional opportunity for a qualified governance professional, to step up into a visible, high-impact role during an exciting phase of growth and transformation for the business!
The Role:
- Taking on various governance tasks and projects including director appointments, dividend payments and dealing with any co-sec related queries
- Attending board meetings, drafting minutes & resolutions
- Utilising the Legal Entity Management system to ensure accurate maintenance of records
- Working closely with other teams of the Group to ensure governance
- Being responsible for Annual reports & AGM
- Monitoring any changes in legislation to advise the group on any implications
Prior Experience:
- You must be a qualified Chartered Governance Professional (ICSA or CGI) with at least 2 years experience within a Secretarial team
- Experience working within the secretarial or governance function of a listed or regulated financial services firm
- Annual Reporting & AGM experience will be ideal
