A market leading media production company based in Central London is looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team.

Reporting into the senior accountant, this role will include a mixture of management of accounts preparation as well as some transactional duties. You will be carrying out month end processes such as prepayments and accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and producing reporting. In addition you will be responsible for reviewing of purchase orders, overseeing the billing process and managing the intercompany balances.

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who have gained some month end experience and are now looking for the next step up. Ideally you will be a self-starter, have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be well organised. The candidate must have advanced MS Excel experience and experience using accounting software such as SAP is recommended. Candidates must be studying towards an accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent.
