Marks Sattin are working with a long-established and well respected professional services business, based in Chesterfield. This developmental role as an Assistant Management Accountant, will provide unparralelled progression within a Multi Billion turnover business.

Duties will include:

Assisting with the production of the monthly management accounts

  • Calculating and posting prepayments and accruals
  • Assisting with P&L analysis and commentary
  • Providing variance analysis to directors on performance
  • Assisting with monthly forecasting and budgets
  • Providing accurate and timely reports to the managers and directors
  • Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, resolving any discrepancies promptly
  • Assisting the efficiency of the department by covering for fellow assistant management
  • Providing support for the Financial Accounts, Management Accounts, Cash & Subs team when required
  • Assist the finance team in completing the annual audit by providing information and explanations to the auditors
  • Ad hoc and project work

This role would suit an ambitious ACCA/CIMA studier who wishes to continue with their exams and an excellent study package is on offer, as well as a competitive salary. Strong AAT candidates will also be considered.
