Start your job searchAs the Assistant Site Accountant the core role will be to provide timely and accurate information of site performance and costs to assist the Site Accountant. You will be given full autonomy to get involved in various projects and be able to work independently when needed. This role is progressive and a quick route to Site Accountant is on offer for a driven and ambitious individual. Duties will include:
- Weekly/monthly site performance analysis
- Complete and review site KPI's
- Complete accurate and timely product costings, understanding the drivers for change
- Understand and investigate production variances
- Provide constructive challenge to Manufacturing and Supply Chain and drive improvements
- Attend daily/weekly meetings and assist in performance reviews
- Attend Material Change Meetings & Factory Development Meetings
- Attend Site Accountants forums & Central Finance meetings when required
- Assist in site budget and forecasting
- Overhead Cost centre management
- Identify opportunities to develop and improve financial processes
- Assist in highlighting stock control issues
- Assist with year-end audit
- Maintain fixed asset schedule
- Assist accounts payable team to resolve parked invoice issues
- Balance Sheet Recs
- Update JD Edwards with up to date bill of material information to ensure accurate materials ordering
- Cover for the site accountant when required
This is an excellent opportunity for a studying accountant, full study support is on offer and although manufacturing experience is beneficial it is not imperative.
