Start your job searchA regulated financial services group in Fareham looking to recruit an Associate Director within their Depositary Fund Finance team. The purpose of your role will be to lead the development of this business line (with the UK Head of Depositary) across operational, financial and strategic considerations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Client Management - Develop new business, promote best practice within the team, support the management of exec-level relationships
- People Management - Work with the team on all aspects of people management, including mentoring, support, training and development
- Business Development - Act as the first point of contact for proposal drafting, negotiating fees and marketing material
- Financial Performance Management - setting annual budgets, client spend analysis, and liaising with the internal finance team and clients with billing, invoice and payment issues
- Operational Development - assess the business' operational framework, providing guidance and advice on best practice for the Depositary business
- Risk Management - Act as the first point of contact and responsibility for internal legal, compliance and risk
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering professional services to a portfolio of clients
- Experience of operating at a board level and maintaining relationships with the ExCo
- Relevant Qualification (ACA/ACCA preferred, ICSA considered)
- Solid experience of managing and leading a team of managers reporting into you
- Background in private equity/real estate (desirable, not essential)
- Experience of working in a Regulated environment (desirable, not essential)
