Start your job searchA Global Alternatives Investor has a rare opportunity for a senior finance professional to work in the specialist Real Estate Investment arm and collaborate with a high calibre investment team based in London.
In this hybrid role, the business is looking for an exceptional accountant/tax professional to ensure and maintain tax efficient and tax compliant investment and fund structures for dedicated funds in close collaboration with Fund Management, Debt Finance and Fund Operations as well as reviewing financial fund reporting and fund NAVs prepared by Fund Accounting. Coordination of external advisors and close coordination with Fund Analyst and Performance Manager to ensure data availability and integrity on property and fund level.
This is a key hire for the business and you will lead the tax structuring process of investments and potential restructuring as well as ensure on-going optimum maintenance and compliance of funds' tax structure on a cross-border basis. As well as monitor and ensure consistent financial reporting process across the fund's structure.
There are typically several transactions on going on this fund, the Fund Manager is looking for someone that has the personality and is capable of managing the day to day duties in the role and work under pressure. On top of this, the ability to handle complexes issues able to simplify and put them across in a digestible way to non finance professionals.
The business is open to hiring a profession from an accounting (deal support/middle office role) or tax background.
Qualifications
- ACA, ACCA or CTA
- Real Estate experience is essential at least 8 years PQE at the Senior Fund Controller within a Real Estate fund or AD Level within a Big 4 focussing on Real Estate tax structuring
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, control environment and good grasp of general transaction mechanics
- Exposure to tax structuring from a real estate fund or big 4 real estate team.
