Start your job searchA global investment bank are looking for an AVP to join their financial reporting team of 6. The role is a replacement of someone who is moving teams internally within the business.
The London Branch is the largest of the Bank's offices in EMEA with approximately 900 employees. As such, it co-ordinates activities and provides support to other offices in the region. The London Branch performs outsourced Finance activities for the branch offices based in Milan and Dubai.
Responsibilities of Financial Reporting Controller:
- Daily and monthly production responsibilities around various elements of Financial Reporting and Control, including product reconciliations (Money Markets instruments, Repos, Trading securities, Derivatives etc.);
- Preparation of various financial reporting submissions to Tokyo on a monthly and quarterly basis;
- Preparation of annual financial statements including notes to accounts;
- Ownership and maintenance of SOX controls and co-ordinating the submission of SOX evidence
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with strong accounting/financial reporting skills and familiarity with accounting standards (FRS 102, IFRS, US GAAP).
