Start your job searchAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Bookkeeper/Accountant on a rolling contract to join a fast growing SME retailer in North London. The role is a sole role with the Finance director working in the office 1 day a week. You will be responsible for a mixture of transactional and management accounting duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit control
- Preparing weekly trading report with analysis of sales by channel, brand and regional area, best sellers, discount and returns, with commentary.
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- All month end duties such as pre-payment, accruals, fixed asset register and internet sales recs and revenue recognition
- Assisting with year end accounts preparation
Key Skills
- Previous experience within retail and online sales ideal
- MUST have Xero experience
- Advanced excel skills
- 3-5 years in a similar role
- Highly analytical with great communication skills
