Start your job searchA PE-backed automotive manufacturing business is seeking a pro-active and commercially astute Chief Financial Officer to drive profitability on its journey towards a strategic exit. The company in backed by a successful Private Equity house and requires a CFO who understands its demands and can partner with the highly entrepreneurial CEO and Chairman to realise the PE House's ambitions.
The business is poised to make further exciting strides of growth in the coming years. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on CFO accustomed to the demands of a manufacturing business to realise equity in a commercial role.
As a board member and leader of the finance function, the CFO will partner with the CEO to create a formidable team, enhance profitability, market share and lead the journey toward an exit. You'll be required to take on a fully hands on approach to the role. Act as a true business partner and offer sustained commercial/operational input at board level. Develop and monitor reporting and interpretation of business KPIs.
The ideal candidate must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA), preferably Chartered, with experience as an autonomous CFO for a manufacturing business. Experience of working in a listed environment as CFO would be highly desirable as the business is considering an IPO. Proactive, down to earth and pragmatic, the CFO will provide clear, decisive and dynamic leadership. Able to operate at both a detailed and strategic level, they will not be afraid of rolling up their sleeves to make things happen. This is an ideal opportunity for a determined and commercially astute CFO to join a fast growing business which is on course for a successful and financially rewarding exit.
