Our client is a global, based in Cheshire who are looking for a driven, commercially focused Accountant to join the team.

This is a key role within the business; responsible for the reporting for 7 subsidiary's. This role incorporates budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, and core accounting and would suit an aspiring FC looking to develop their career within a business who provides the tools to get you where you want to be!

This is the perfect opportunity for commercially aware candidates with a proven track record of working within a fast paced, challenging environment. The ideal candidate with be a qualified or part qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong technical and communication skills. Advanced excel skills would be advantageous.

Duties:

• Financial planning and analysis - working alongside the Commercial team to produce budgets and reforecasts for the entire Telematics division. This would include assisting in the creation of the overheads budget, as well as review and challenge of the gross profit lines.
• Production of entity and territory level financial review packs, including variance analysis of the results and commentary highlighting the key movements.
• Work alongside group finance to enhance the quality of the reporting, and ensure it continues to meet the needs of an ever-evolving business.
• Preparation of financial information for use at various business review meetings with the senior management team
